Camp hands of hope fund-hosted three times a year in south carolina for youth ages 5 to 18 and their families who have experienced the loss of a loved one. Sometimes, a childs laughter and playfulness masks an inner pain. We recognize that children grieve in many different ways. They want support from their peers and to know that there are others with similiar challenges. For these reasons, we created camp hands of hope, a safe, caring environment where families can express their feelings and connect with others going through similar experiences.
