Hospice program provides a set of supporting services to terminally ill patients and their families principally in The home setting. Hospice services are also available to patients in nursing homes, hospitals and other various care facilities. 1,146 patients served resulting in 46,043 patient care days, in addition, hospice provided bereavement services as needed to 1,961 family members of patients in The hospice program. These services included individual or family meetings, group bereavement sessions and phone calls of support. Camp healing hearts is a four day bereavement camp providing learning, healthy grief and hopeful living for 25 children and teens ages 6-14, who have experienced The loss of someone close to them.
Qualified counselors provide individual counseling and bereavement therapy for community members of all ages who are living with loss. 62 clients served. Total hours of service (471) were provided mainly through phone calls in an ongoing attempt to limit The spread of covid to our breavement staff and our clients.
