Program areas at House of Hope Midwest
Grocery Distribution -- House of Hope maintained its commitment to reducing food insecurity by providing fresh and shelf stable groceries to the community. House of Hope accomplished this by hosting Family Fridays, a monthly meal distribution to the community. House of Hope also made arrangements to deliver groceries to some members of the community who were unable to find transportation. The Organization served over 4,700 people in 2023, and provided ingredients and food items necessary for over 44,000 meals.
Special Events -- House of Hope continued partnerships with other local charitable organizations in 2023 to provide impactful special events for members of the community. House of Hope provided care packages and physical goods, with items like hygiene products, clothing, and toys, to families in need in the community. These events were primarily conducted around holidays, such as Christmas, Mother's Day, Easter, and Thanksgiving, and were designed to provide support and hope in the local community. House of Hope distributed over 300 pairs of shoes and 375 backpacks to school-age kids in the community who cannot afford these essential items.
Everything Beautiful Boutique - House of Hope served dozens of individuals in need with care packages of clothing, basic necessities, and hygiene items. The Boutique enabled recipient women to obtain these essential items with dignity and care. In 2023, the Everything Beautiful Boutique distributed over 1,700 health, hygiene, and personal care items.
