Program areas at House of Hope Ministry
Christmas in the Park: Purpose is to provide a Christmas experience to low income families in the trailer park communities. This includes coordinating, wrapping, and distributing donated items to the families on Christmas Eve via an "adopt-a-family" format. In 2023, 87 families across 11 neighborhoods (totaling 219 children and 159 adults) were blessed with toys, clothing, essentials, and grocery gift cards to get them through the holiday season.
Summer camps: House of Hope was able to provide an opportunity for every single one of our children to attend one of five different summer camps with a scholarship.
Youth Nights: purpose is to provide a safe space for positive experiences and community and relationship building for the youth in the trailer park communities. Youth nights meet once per week at each of the two locations and serve about 100 youth total.
