Legislative services: with a longstanding approach to advocacy that includes defining what the Association supports while also opposing legislation that would negatively impact its member companies, hcpa proactively promotes its position to legislators, regulators, non-government organizations and other stakeholders. During over 100 years of advocating on behalf of its industry, hcpa has built a strong reputation as a trusted, reliable, and reasonable voice for both the Household and Commercial Products industries at the federal and state levels.
Legal and regulatory affairs services: the hcpa legal and regulatory affairs department monitors regulatory issues affecting formulated consumer Products in seven business sectors. Staff regulatory experts work with government to monitor regulations, provide input and gather information. They engage Association member companies at workshops, on conference calls, and at two major meetings of the membership to solicit their feedback on regulatory and legal priorities. The department routinely provides comments to regulatory agencies on proposed regulations.
Member services, meetings and workshops: hcpa is a trusted business partner to approximately 250 member companies seeking to collaborate with stakeholders on issues critical to the future of formulated Products. The Association is organized around seven business divisions representing product sectors and each of those divisions has committees and task groups dedicated to specific issues.
