Homeless prevention & cera programshomeless prevention - this program helps individuals and families keep their current Housing or helps move them from unsatisfactory Housing to satisfactory Housing. This program served 309 households.covid emergency rental assistance program (cera) - the cera program provided rental and utility assistance, reducing the number of evictions and relocations and instances of homelessness in eaton and clinton counties. This program assisted 1,418 families.
Supportive Housing - this program provides rental subsidy for the chronically homeless who have a disability. This program assisted 37 households.
Mainstream section 8 - this program helps individuals and families that have an adult member who is disabled and under the age of 62 with monthly rent payments. This program helped 267 individuals in 172 households.
Homeless assistance - this program helps families who are in shelters or have been evicted, relocate off the street and into Housing. This program helped 224 households.
Project for assistance in transition from homelessness (path) - this program helps meet the needs of individuals and families that are transitioning from homelessness into another home. 313 individuals were contacted/located and 114 were enrolled in path case management.
Michigan prisoner re-entry - this program provides transitional Housing for inmates upon release from prison. This program helped 139 individuals.
Home counseling - this program provides education and counseling for home buyers, including one-on-one homebuyer education to clients who are working with a mshda-approved lender to finalize the purchase of their home using a mshda mortgage product. This program also includes foreclosure prevention counseling for those facing a foreclosure or tax foreclosure. Provides advocacy with mortgage companies to come up with options for those who have fallen behind on payments, including short sales, and loan modifications. 2 households were assisted with lender referrals and 19 households received home buyer education classes.
Continuum of care planning grant - this program helps meet the planning needs of agencies who assist individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
