Homeless prevention, rapid & transitional Housing: this program of hssw provides rental assistance and supportive services that promote long-term stability, and connect individuals and families to community resources. Transitional Housing support is provided as well to victims of crime and domestic violence and sexual assault. Staff support clients with self- directed goal planning; goals of education, career, healthy child development, budgeting and livable wage employment can be achieved with stable Housing in place.
Covid 19 emergency assistance
Housing development: Housing Solutions for the Southwest is committed to developing affordable Housing through tax credit projects and partnerships with foundations, local and state government and other private and public entities. Hssw owns and manages affordable Housing communities in Southwest Colorado, including Southwest horizon ranch (61 single family homes), socorro senior living center (19 apartments), homeward bound (5 apartments), and espero permanent supported Housing (40 apartments).
