Program areas at Houston Police Foundation

Promoted awareness of the Houston Police department to the general public, including Police week, a week dedicated to honor Police officers and increase public understanding of the department. Final payments were made for 8 new armored trucks and they were put into place in 2023. A quadruped robot was purchased for a total cost of $386,714 and also new aviator helmets were purchased for a total cost of $133,149. This specialized equipment further provides the best available Police protection and greater technology in dealing with dangerous situations that officers face today.
