Hui Makaala of Hawaii

Hui Makaala of Hawaii organizes exclusively for charitable, educational, literary and cultural purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The organization provides scholarships to deserving students for attending institutions of higher learning and promotes cultural events that help to preserve and perpetuate Okinawan culture. Hui Makaala participates in various cultural events, some of which are sponsored by the organization or huoa to promote fellowship and goodwill amongst members.
