Human-Animal Alliance

Bringing people and animals together: not everyone who could benefit from the therapeutic benefits, love, and companionship of animals has adequate access. We actively identify vulnerable and in-need segments of the population and open the door between them and animals that can provide the healing and support that they deserve. In 2023, we provided victims of human trafficking and children suffering from severe trauma or loss with free access to top-notch animal-assisted therapy (aat) programs. We also sponsored a crisis response service dog at a north carolina fire department who will assist first responders and civilians in the wake of traumatic events.
