Description
Humanity for Horses rescues horses and other animals from slaughter, abuse, neglect, and abandonment, providing life-long sanctuary through high-quality medical and emotional care. Currently providing care for 617 animals, including horses, donkeys, mules, sheep, goats, llamas, alpacas, dogs, cats, chickens and geese. Ongoing construction of shelters and pastures required to provide for all animals in our care.

Program areas at Humanity for Horses

At the close of 2022, 678 animals were in our care - 483 Horses and 195 other animals that include donkeys, mules, sheep, goats, llamas, alpacas, dogs, cats, chickens and geese. Continued construction of all the needed shelters and pastures for the above Horses and animals to maintain their safety, security, health and ongoing peaceful living needs. We have expanded the use of equipment and infrastructure to increase efficiency in the care of the animals and betterment of their care accordingly.funding comes by way of the generosity of grants, indivdual donations, and corporate donations. Multiple individuals have joined our direct animal sponsorship whereby they agree to a monthly payment to support an individual animal for the cost of feed each month.
