Next generation manufacturing program - the next generation manufacturing program is workforce development training program designed to provide low-income residents with the skills necessary to secure an entry-level career in the manufacturing sector. The program is sponsored by san francisco's office of economic and workforce development and Humanmade has partnered with sfmade to execute of the 12-week training.
Steam programs - Humanmade's steam (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) programs are designed to introduce high school students to the world of making, design, and advanced manufacturing. These programs aim to foster creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills by engaging students in hands-on projects that integrate various steam disciplines. By providing access to cutting-edge tools and technology, Humanmade empowers students to explore their interests, develop new skills, and gain exposure to potential career paths in innovative industries. The program is a key component of Humanmade's broader mission to cultivate a skilled and diverse workforce for the future.
Training sessions and member support - Humanmade offers workshops on making, design, and advanced manufacturing, providing hands-on experience with industry-standard tools and technologies for all skill levels. Special workshops are available for advanced skills in manufacturing and design, catering to those looking to deepen their expertise. Memberships grant access to state-of-the-art facilities, tools, and equipment, along with discounts on workshops and participation in community events.
Ihub2 business accelerator - Humanmade has launched a business accelerator program in collaboration with the California office of the small business advocate (calosba). This program is designed to support the growth and sustainability of small businesses, particularly those led by underrepresented entrepreneurs. The accelerator provides participants with mentorship, access to resources, and networking opportunities, aimed at fostering innovation and scaling their businesses. This initiative furthers Humanmade's mission by contributing to the economic development of the community and supporting entrepreneurship.
