Program areas at Hungarian-American Coalition

The Coalition's Lauer Leadership Training Program is the flagship program of the organization supporting over 100 interns in the United States over a period of more than 10 years. During the pandemic the program was reduced to online activities and just a few in person internships. Scholarships both in the US and in the Carpathian Basin are offered to qualified students. The program resumed in 2023.
The Coalition supports two scholarship programs, the Bela Bognar Family Hungarian Scholarship and the Elemer and Eva Kiss Scholarship program. Both scholarships are given to students in Central and East European countries to students who study in the United States or in their respective countries.
Hungarian American Coalition projects support to advance projects whose mission and objectives are complimentary to those of the Coalition in the areas of education and culture.
