Program areas at Hyp-Access
Hyp-ACCESSs mission is healthcare access and sociomedical justice for all people, with a particular focus on supporting people with hypermobility-related conditions and disabilities. Populations served are primarily LGBTQIA+, women, disabled, low-income, and/or people of color. All programs are free or sliding scale and include sociomedical research, public education on hypermobile disability, accessible movement classes, Hypermobile Accessible Proprioceptive Therapy (HAPT), practitioner training, consulting and advocacy, and developing new models of healthcare for a future where all people with hypermobility and related disabilities have equitable access to safe and dignified care options.
