The remaining expenses of the Association aredues and donations to related associations;postage and office supplies; etc.,which are necessary for the education of the members.
The Association pays their secretary-treasurerto maintain an office where the Growers can comefor information. The secretary-treasurer alsomaintains the books and records of the associationas well as attending all meetings and keeping theminutes of such meetings. The secretary-treasureralso makes the arrangements for the annual meet-ing each year.
The Association hosts an annual meeting for themembers each year. At the annual meeting guestspeakers report on various research projectsand other items of interest to the members.
The Association pays for their noa trustees,as well as directors, and members to travelto the national Onion Association conventionsand meetings. Each person that travels makesa report to the Association on the topics discussed at these conventions and meetings.
