THE GRANT CYCLE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2024, RESULTED IN POOLED DISTRIBUTIONS OF $181,343 to 18 IDAHO NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS. DURING THAT PERIOD, MEMBERS ALSO DIRECTED DISTRIBUTIONS OF $120,250 TO INDIVIDUALLY SELECTED NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS. IDAHO WOMEN'S CHARITABLE FOUNDATION (IWCF) EDUCATES MEMBERS ABOUT COMMUNITY NEEDS AND INSPIRES THEM TO POSITIVELY IMPACT THE COMMUNITY THROUGH EDUCATED PHILANTHROPY. NEARLY ALL IWCF MEMBERS PARTICIPATE IN A COLLABORATIVE EFFORT TO IDENTIFY AND DISTRIBUTE GRANTS TO THOSE IDAHO NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS PROVIDING SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY IN THE AREAS OF CULTURAL ARTS, EDUCATION, FINANCIAL STABILITY, ENVIRONMENT, HEALTH AND RURAL COMMUNITIES. BY COLLABORATING ON GRANT FUNDING DECISIONS AND PARTICIPATING IN IWCF-SPONSORED EDUCATION EVENTS AND SERVICE ACTIVITIES, MEMBERS DEVELOP THE SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE NECESSARY TO MAKE INFORMED PHILANTHROPIC DECISIONS.
Iwcf sponsors a biennial symposium event focused on one of its grantmaking interest areas. The event is intended as an opportunity to educate members and the public about community issues. The revenues and expenses reported in the fiscal year ended 6/30/2024 relate to the symposium which will be held in october 2024.
Iwcf sponsors multiple educational events each year to educate members and the public about community philanthropic issues.
