Program areas at IKUS Life Enrichment Services
Camp - with its barrier free facilities and a quality individual to staff ratio, Indian Trails Camp gives adults and children with disabilities the chance to engage in year-round programs and services in addition to traditional Camp events such as swimming, boating, arts and crafts, ropes course, and drama. The time that an individual has atitc is often his/her only time spent away from family members and thus providing those caregivers respite from the day to day needs of an individual with special physical and medical needs. In 2023, Indian Trails Camp served 654 children and adults with special needs.
Community living support - individuals are trained/guided within their home and community on daily living activities such as meal preparation, laundry, finances, household care, socialization, and relationshipbuilding. 50 consumers participated in this program in 2023.
Community integrated skill building - assists individuals with increasing their independence and economic self-sufficiency with a focus on 4 core skills: leadership, work, leisure & relationships, and safety. 115 people were served in 2023.
