Program areas at Illinois Valley Safe House Alliance
We have continued to work with the following individuals: young teens and their parents, survivors with addiction issues, survivors who are homeless, male survivors and partners of survivors. Our strategy continues to strive to change cultural norms that accept the use of personal power- based violence; this includes bullying, dating violence, domestic violence,sexual assault, stalking and human trafficing. We received funding to make building improvements including the following: installed fencing surrounding the building and a new HVAC unit. Also, we installed additional camera surveillance equipment.
