The organization funded a documentary film on native american food sovereignty. The film, gather, is now on netflix. The film explores native american culinary traditions, foraging practices and hunting- with a specific focus on the apache, lakota and yurok histories.
We are building a retreat center in upstate new york to help facilitate conversations around peace and social justice. The center will be a location where individuals and groups can come to reflect on personal and collective peace.
Isf is impact fund supported 25 initiatives in 2022 that drive small but demonstrable change to foster peace and goodwill, predominately in underrepresented and under-resourced communities. Isf is support advanced grantees internal operational capacity and their ability to programmatically address social justice issues, including but not limited to immigration criminal justice reform indigenous food systems and sovereignty education and services that strengthen individuals, families, and communities.
We created and published a book on the theme of sports and peace and are disseminating it free to youth sports organizations, as well as high-level, professional running teams. Development of social impact comedy series. We are in development on a comedic series that will reflect themes of climate change, social justice, marginalized groups, and international affairs.
