During Oregon's 2023 legislative session, Imagine Black participated in numerous coalitions to engage in 18 pieces of legislation ranging from gender affirming care, the implementation of measure 114, childcare, and reforms to the criminal justice system.
Imagine Black launched an awareness campaign in connection with the no police money in politics campaign in november 2022. Over 1 million oregonians in the portland metro area were reached across billboards, print and digital, and op-eds placed in local newspapers.
Imagine Black worked with our kinfolk membership to endorse 12 candidates and 5 ballot measures that align with our mission, vision, and values.
