Immigrant Womens Community Center

Immigrant Women's Community Center (IWCC) currently supports immigrant and refugee families with compassion and humanity. We know the pain of leaving behind your loved ones, belongings, and everything that was familiar. It is challenging to start a new life in a new country and more complicated when one experiences language barriers, cultural differences, and navigating unfamiliar systems. We are also aware of the trauma these families have endured as they make their journey to their new homes. We make sure that they know that they are not alone. Focused on compassionate leadership, we meet each family's needs holistically. In 2022, IWCC provided services to 225 families in the following areas: employment assistance, rental assistance, gift cards, food delivery, delivery of furniture, clothes & kitchen items, connection to long-term resources & DSHS, healing circles, interpretation and referral services.
