Immigration Counseling Service (ics) provides affordable legal services for Immigration issues such as family visa petitions, permanent residency, citizenship applications, consular processing, representation before uscis, renewal of work permits/resident cards, deferred action for childhood arrivals (daca), asylum, and defense against removal proceedings. Also provides assistance obtaining u and t visas. Ics had over 1,500 open cases in 2023.
Immigration Counseling Service (ics) provides comprehensive services for human trafficking victims. Through a contract with the united states committee on refugees and immigrants (uscri), ics provides social services advocacy, case management and referral services to trafficking survivors.
Immigration Counseling Service (ics) through a contract with the acacia provides Immigration legal services to children detained in staff-secure, shelter, and transitional/long term foster care facilities. Ics provides know your rights orientations which teach children their rights while in detention. Ics creates individual plans for each child and accompanies them for appearance before Immigration court.
Immigration Counseling Service (ics) provides know your rights trainings and workshops around Immigration issues with a variety of community groups, educational institutions, religious organizations, and immigrants rights organizations, and health and social services providers in the Oregon and sw Washington area. Ics started fundraising for the immigrant relief fund to aid in costs for indigent clients.
