Program areas at Impact Silver Spring

Neighborhood opportunity network - strengthens social networks in diverse neighborhoods that lead to people and communities that are healthier, more economically stable and more engaged in civic participation. Impact supports many struggling families on empowerment pathways by creating multiple spaces in the network where people from diverse backgrounds can come together to form new businesses, improve their neighborhood conditions and achieve personal development goals.
Impact sports - provides recreational sports and enrichment for hundreds of low-income and immigrant youth. This program empowers families to form and operate youth sports teams in neighborhoods where young people are typically disconnected from local athletic leagues.
