the fiscal sponsorship program completed 2 projects and distributed all remaining funds to support the mission of the following programs: 1) support + feed, a nonprofit program working globally to provide plant-based meals to underserved communities and public education about the benefits of plant-based foods; and 2) poetry pollinators, an eco-poetry public art initiative to bring back declining native bee populations and support local ecosystems for the benefit of all species. the public education program hosts an interactive digital adaptation of the chinese classic book of change, called "i-ching mothering change." Developed In partnership with the author, well-known i-ching scholar stephen karcher ph.d., and our founder julie chase-daniel m.a., this signature online program shares a unique approach to working with this ancient philosophical text to support self-reflection, creativity, and compassion during major life transitions as the engine of social change.number of people served: 11,000 online visitors each month.
the small grant program supports new initiatives and artist-led programs to cultivate creativity and greater flourishing among the Family of the earth. One grant was awarded to a collective of artist-activists to support completion of a new strawbale community resilience hub that includes a community kitchen, greenhouse, and collective art & office space, part of the dine-led "nihi k'e baa' love on the land" land back initiative, In window rock, az.number of people served: 9,000 households and the public at large.
