Program areas at In The Streets
In the Streets (ITS) held yoga classes six times per week over the course of the year. Participants showed gains in physical wellness and mindfulness when they chose to participate consistently
ITS began serving service providers more in depth in 2023 through yoga classes and through educational talks focused on preventing burnout and vicarious traumatization in service providers. Talks were given to multiple groups
ITS continued to offer mental health services in the form of therapeutic mentorship with a Licensed Clinician, peer mentorship with University students and support groups run by Licensed Clinicians. We held a pregnancy group, New Moms fellowship, and Circle of Security Parenting Group.
