Program areas at Independent School Alliance
Membership servises:we aim to ensure Independent schools reflect the cultural, economic, and ethnic diversity of greater los angeles. We bring information sessions and Independent School fairs to over 1000 families in the los angeles and greater los angeles regions. Through these sessions we inform underrepresented and underserved families about Independent School admissions and connect families with schools in their region.
Student services and programs:we provide support for underrepresented and underserved students through the admissions process and years in their Independent School. Additionally, we award college scholarships to four deserving students each year.
Admissions services and programs:we collect, review and distribute admissions materials on behalf of families. Our widely accepted common application and individualized advocacy ensures the best results for our families. Students and families admitted into the cohort receive one on one counseling o Independent School choice. We offer intentional application support and have deep knowledge of the communities we serve. Our nine month admissions support program features an array of workshops to help families navigate financial assistance, School decisions and admissions interviews.
