Groton Hill Music (IHM)

The Music education program served approximately 1,500 students of all ages and abilities with a faculty of professional artists and educators through private instruction, group lessons and ensembles for all instruments and voice, in many genres including classical, jazz, folk, popular, celtic, and traditional Music. The organization is committed to providing affordable Music education and also has been able to provide $61,742 in scholarship aid.

The organization's community engagement programs serve its community through free Music school programs in under resourced public school districts and in boys and girls clubs, free professional concerts that serve its community which includes senior citizens, residents of assisted living facilities and families, and bedside singing by its threshold singers for those in hospice care or at the end of life.

The organization's performance program served over 20,000 people through performances by professional high caliber performing artists in many genres of Music including classical, jazz, blue grass, country, and traditional Music as well as performances by the organizations professional vista philharmonic orchestra led by conductor bruce hangen.
