Program areas at Indigenous Regeneration

Paradise Valley Farm food relief program used a food relief grant to grown and give away food to elders and community members and served 40 families for one year 2000 food boxes.
The Kumeyaay Ethnobotany Board Game is an interactive, educational, cultural revitalization board game that serves as a teaching tool of the true history of San Diego and Baja, as well as a fun, interactive way of teaching Kumeyaay language, history, ethnobotany, and the rich cultural history of the Kumeyaay Nation. Presently 50 prople have participated, with much greater participation andtipated in following years.
The Bird Song Documentation Project used a digital platform to explore the use of Kumeyaay Bird Songs in substance use disorder programs to increase treatment engagement and retention in San Diego. Presently 1200 individuals are served, with much greater participation anticipated in following years.
Streetwyze is a project through UC San Diego Center for Community Health which works on identifying and addressing health disparities, and to identify and document social, environmental, and behavioral determinants of health that might impact health equity in San Diego County.
