Program areas at Indigo Rescue

Indigo Rescue operates programs to discourage the surrender of companion animals to shelters and increase the likelyhood of permanent placement. Efforts include partnering with county animal shelters to reduce euthanasia rates by taking animals who do not meet shelter criteria for adoptoin and are otherwise facing euthanasia. This includes neglected, abused, senior, injured, disabled, and unsocialized animals. Placement efforts are on making cimpatible matches to ensure a better likelhood of lifetime commitments to pets. The organization also offers consultation, resources and support to individuals from within the community who are making an effort to help abandoned animals find loving homes. We also provide santuary to abused, neglected and abandoned farm animals ar our ranch property.
