General programs - Indy Convergence provides professional development and tangible support to both artists and community groups in indianapolis to bring artistic projects to life. This falls in line with the organization's pledge to come alongside our neighbors and art partners through people-centered programming and celebrate our work together with our partners and community.
ARTIST RESIDENCY AND ARTS COLLABORATIONS: This programs encapsulates our artist-centered programming that includes presenting artists at events, providing space for artists to collaborate, and connecting artists from our residency programs to foster ongoing, collaborative opportunities.
A Rising Tide/Riverside Engagement: THIS PROGRAM IS MOBILE, NONINVASIVE ARTS PROGRAMMING ALONG THE SHORES OF THE WHITE RIVER BETWEEN 16TH STREET AND NEW YORK ST IN INDIANAPOLIS, IN. THIS TAKES SHAPE AS AN ANNUAL FESTIVAL FEATURING PERFORMING ARTS EVENTS ON TWO STAGES. THESE SHOWS ARE PAIRED WITH EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS AND INTERACTIVE ACTIVITIES LIKE GUIDED, BILINGUAL, NATURE HIKES THAT ENCOURAGE RESIDENTS TO ENJOY THE WHITE RIVER, UNDERSTAND THE ECOLOGICAL IMPORTANCE OF OUR CITY'S MOST IMPORTANT WATERWAY. THIS PROGRAM IS A FUSION OF INDY CONVERGENCE'S ARTISTS AND COMMUNITY WORK. IC ALSO WORKS WITH OTHER RIVER ADVOCATES TO MAINTAIN A HEALTHY ECOSYSTEM IN ORDER FOR ARTS AND COMMUNITY EVENTS TO BE POSSIBLE.
