Infectious Diseases Society for Obstetrics and Gynecology

IDSOG Annual Meeting and Conference The meeting brings together physicians, scientists, researchers, and other health care professionals involved in patient care, research, public health, education and disease prevention in the field of infectious diseases and obstetrics and gynecology. The meeting provided three days of broad continuing education with an emphasis on infectious diseases. IDSOG members fill important leadership positions at local, regional, and national levels. Through their advocacy for women's health, the society has led the field in publishing important position papers that influence the national standard of care, including: management of genital HSV infection during pregnancy; prevention of neonatal infection with group B streptococcus; women's immunization.
