Domestic Violence Advocacy Program. In October 2020, the Organization introduced its Domestic Violence Advocacy Program ("DVAP") and bolstered its relationships with agencies serving victims of domestic violence in Eastern North Carolina. As of September 30, 2023, the Organization provided civil legal services to 99 primary victims and 257 secondary victims (i.e., children) in 145 individual family and financial legal matters across six counties. 70% of services were provided at no cost to its clients thanks to local and government grant funding.
Legal Services for Vulnerable Immigrant Populations. In January 2023, the Organization introduced its immigration program and bolstered its relationships with agencies serving immigrants and victims of domestic violence in Eastern North Carolina. As of September 30, 2023, the Organization provided civil legal services to 134 individuals at no cost to its clients thanks to local and government grant funding.
