Program areas at Inner City Innovators

The hope dealer mentoring program works with young men aged 13-25 who reside in communities of concentrated violence and disadvantage. This intensive mentoring program is focused on leadership development, social-emotional learning, and community service. The program achieves its main goals through interventions focused on cognitive behavioral therapy, personal wellness, financial literacy, career development, goal setting, and self-regulation.the program makes an immeasurable difference in the lives of mentees, giving them structure, support, and guidance as they fight to overcome the pervasive and systemic injustices that threaten to hinder their success.
Community engagement - through our community engagement programming, mentors and mentees engage with the community through: (1) executing community engagement walks to convey the consequences of clique/gang violence and recruit new mentees (2) attending community meetings (3) hosting community conversations that engage our community in the fight for our future and (4) hosting and participating in events in the communities we serve.
Lady hope dealer mentoring program - the lady hope dealer mentoring program is the sister program to the hope dealer mentoring program and works with young women aged 13-25 who reside in communities of concentrated violence and disadvantage. Like the hope dealer mentoring program, this program is focusedon leadership development, social-emotional learning, and community service.
