Program areas at Innovative Schools Network
The Innovative Schools Network (isn) organized coaching and professional development to Schools. The isn has a resource sharing system that includes significant use of a statewide video Network for close collaboration and continuous improvement. The mission is to provide the nation's public school educators, administrators, and related leaders with a Network that builds a culture of innovation in thought and practice to transform learning and Schools. Our vision is to be the nation's leading force in innovation for better public education.
Due to the covid-19 pandemic, the annual Innovative Schools Network's conference on educational innovation was cancelled. This event normally draws 300 educators from across the state. The educators share best practices while collaborating and learning from one another. Innovative Schools Network in partnership with the Wisconsin resource center for charter Schools hosted the first-ever virtual school development conference in the state of Wisconsin in april 2020. The one-day event drew more than 200 registrants and offered learning opportunities from people all around the country. The event will be held again virtually in april 2021.due to the covid-19 pandemic, the "arts integration conference: exploring an approach to teaching and the midwest arts integration conference were also cancelled. The kennedy center arts integration conference will take place june 2021 in arlington, va and the midwest arts integration conference will take place july 2021. Both conferences will explore the how of arts integration, rooted in the kennedy center's 40 years of experience in professional learning for teachers. They provide many strategies that can make arts integration a part of every teacher's approach to teaching. Each conference is appropriate for teachers, principals, school district administrators, and partnering arts organization staff and teaching artists.
