the Middle East - intelligence perspectives mini-seminar held on february 15-17 and 22, 2022, at beth tfiloh dahan community school focused on countering misinformation spread through social media platforms. It highlighted how catchy slogans and emotional narratives can distort reality, particularly regarding anti-israel and anti-jewish narratives. the seminar introduced an intelligence curriculum that encourages critical thinking and equips students with skills based on israeli intelligence analysis techniques. Instead of dictating what to think, the curriculum teaches how to think, enabling students to address and combat misinformation while providing valuable life skills to navigate complex realities.
Three foundations - aio, harold k.l. Castle, and harry and jeanette weinberg - co-sponsored Middle East expert avi melamed for a week-long educational series in honolulu from september 9 - 20, 2022.
