Program areas at Insource
Collaborative parent involvement program provides training, information, and assistance for parents of young adults with disabilities and young adults with disabilities. In 2023/2024, the aggregate accomplishments for the collaborative parent involvement project and Indiana parent training project were that 14,429 individuals were assisted, 67 Resource fairs were attended, 184 training sessions held, and 1,238 individuals were trained. In addition, Insource staff participated in 1,306 case conferences and meetings statewide.
Technical assistance Center provides targeted and intensive technical assistance aimed at increasing the capacity of region c parent centers to effectively reach and support Families with Special Needs.

Project launch supports youth training efforts and provides products to inform students and Families of transition age. Sfec also established 5 model sites and structures to become the statewide family engagement Center. This Center provides training for state leaders, parents, and staff on family engagement strategies.
