In 2023, Inspire Action for Social Change was engaged in three cooperative agreements with the department of justice-office on violence against women. Under cooperative agreements 15jovw-21-gk-02241-mumu and 15jovw-23-gk-05165-mumu, Inspire Action for Social Change provided specialized training and technical assistance focused on enhancing and expanding the supervised visitation and safe exchange capacity of department of justice - office on violence against women grantees and subgrantees providing or developing supervised visitation and safe exchange services for individuals and families experiencing domestic violence, sexual violence, stalking, child sexual abuse, and dating violence. Under cooperative agreement 15jovw-22-gk-04030-mumu, Inspire Action for Social Change engaged in a project with the department of justice - office on violence against women to examine and rewrite the current ovw supervised visitation and safe exchange guiding principles.
Under a subrecipient agreement with the national council of juvenile and family court judges, Inspire Action for Social Change engaged in a project focusing on developing resources to support self-represented survivors of intimate partner violence in court on custody and visitation specific remedies and a project to plan and conduct listening sessions with small ovw-funded training and technical assistance providers to gather information, recommendations, and strategies to assist in developing and implementing tta for other similarly situated organizations.
In 2023, Inspire Action for Social Change engaged in a contract with caminar latino for the purposes of training and consultation on the national center to advance peace.
All other programs provided training & technical assistance and enhanced the safety of survivors of intimate partner abuse & their children.
