Institute for Fisheries Resources

Accomplishments include: organize and unite the commercial fishing community to protect fisheries resources and provide for a sound and sustainable economy, provide a collaborative forum for fishing men and women to develop and improve fisheries policy, develop strategic alliances among fishing groups, conservation organizations, government agencies and scientists to ensure that resource protection and conservation issues are properly addressed, educate the community to promote sustainability harvested seafood through outreach events, newsletters and social media.
