Program areas at Inst for People Place Possibility

4B - Program General. This program focuses on activities and expenses that cut across all programs and projects. An example would include the activities surrounding assessment and curation of Community Commons.
4C - Community Commons (CC) for Public Good. This program provides a public online platform serving a broad-based field working towards healthier, sustainable and more equitable communities. The site, content and webinar/trainings provide information on tools, resources and stories to improve communities and inspire change. CCs features and functions are focused on information and discovery. The Commons is designed both as an infrastructure/governance model AND technology to share new ways for community partnerships, advocates, organizers, associations, foundations, and policymakers to share, learn and leverage common resources.
4E - IP3 Applications - Assess, Measure, Impact, CC Spaces. IP3 develops specific applications with distinct workflows. This program offers a suite of tools/applications for multi-sector stakeholder collaboratives (working in healthy, equitable and sustainable communities) to Assess, Measure and demonstrate Impact more effectively and access to field knowledge (e.g. studies, tools, toolkits, reports, etc.). The program includes offering licenses/access to evolving products and customization to tailor application(s) for the specific client needs. Data and information collected through these applications can be made available to the field through Community Commons for broader use. A portion of the revenue of the products will go to help sustain the public good Community Commons.
4D - Consulting, Curation, Training and User Support. This area of work is focused on customized consulting, resource curation, training and support for organizations, networks, or coalitions. Activities would include consulting on projects/initiatives involving specific topics or geographies, identifying and curating resources (e.g. studies, tools, toolkits, reports, etc.) from the field, developing customized onsite or virtual trainings contextualized to the specific goals and needs of the audience; customized training videos and written guides/handouts etc. Development of presentations at conferences may also be included if they are project/funder specific.
