Institute of Church Administration and Management icam emerged as an initiative of the congress of national black churches and was established in 1992. Icam grew out of the desire of the leaders of the congress of national black churches for black clergy and laity to become more proficient in Management and Administration. To assist religious leaders and officers of african American churches acquire administrative and Management skills. Religious, charitable and educational.
