Educational conferences and courses - sharing recognized global expertise in the fields of contamination control, Environmental testing, and nanotechnology facilities. This is accomplished through training, conferences, resources and publications and by developing and delivering content that is high quality, timely, and relevant to members and other industry professionals at all stages of their careers.

Iest is an ansi-accredited standards-developing organization; secretariat of international standards organization (iso)/tc 209 - cleanrooms and associated controlled environments; administrator of the ansi-accredited us technical advisory group (tag) to iso/tc 209; and a founding member of the ansi-accredited us tag to iso/tc 229 -nanotechnologies.
