Grants and Contractual Assistance: The IJIS Institute provides support to new, developing, and existing programs that are sponsored by client organizations, including federal government agencies. These programs typically address issues of national impact in the justice, public safety, and homeland security sectors. Membership Support: Training and Education: The IJIS Institute provides training and education programs essential to the successful implementation of technology and information sharing projects in the public sector and, specifically, in the IJIS Institute's areas of focus.The National Symposium highlights national priority initiatives benefiting all levels of government and brings together industry solution providers, government leaders, and representatives from nonprofit and academic organizations to network and collaborate in a neutral, non-sales environment. The National Symposium offers the unique opportunity to hear first-hand from state and local government officials and Federal government leaders. National Symposium: Learn about trends, policies and processes, common challenges, and promising practices and lessons learned on a broad array of current and emerging technologies. By attending this event, you will also obtain unique insight to IJIS member's collaboration, research and work conducted through our Advisory Committees, Working Groups and Task Forces.
