Program areas at Intermountain Vipassana Association

Main purpose is to hold meditation courses for the public. There were a total of 15 Ten Day courses, 3 Three Day Courses and 1 Eight Day Course, 1 Twenty Day Course and 1 Childrens Course.As for new buildings and development, a Kitchen-dining excavation started in late April and concrete slab poured.Windbreaks were constructed for tenting areas.Thirteen Canvas Tents were purchased for single accommodations along with beds and tables for each tent.A nursery of 100 Aspen trees and 200 Lilac bushes was planted in the fenced in garden area; as well as, a tree corral to protect against deer was created.A new sidewalk around the Northside Residence was poured; as well as, a concrete slab in the old pole barn.
