The Musical Grant Program assists professional ensembles and individuals in the San Francisco Bay Area. Through a competitive selection process, the Program provides financial support for artistic endeavors fostering small ensemble music in all its diversity. Awards are granted to ensembles, composers or presenters with well-conceived projects that bring awardees to a new level of achievement. In its ten cycles to date, the program has granted a total of more than $746,000 for 256 different projects, with a tremendous impact for awardees and audiences alike, resulting in a rich variety of commissioned new works, performances, and recordings.
InterMusic SF supports and assists emerging and existing professional chamber ensembles and presenters. - The Fiscal Sponsorship Program provides fiscal sponsorship, free career development workshops (also open to the community at large), performance and education opportunities, and the in-demand service of one-on-one mentoring to over 100 ensembles currently, comprising over 380 musicians.
SF Music Day is an annual day-long event that showcases live performances by some of the San Francisco Bay Area's finest professional ensembles. Audiences of all ages and backgrounds have the opportunity to experience-some for the first time-the excitement of new works and classic chamber music repertoire absolutely free of charge.
