Program areas at International Action Ministries
Club la cima - children[:quote:]s education-mentoring program in tijuana, mexico: this before-and-after school program serves between 30 and 40 needy children from a poor neighborhood in greater tijuana. It aids with homework, provides a healthy meal, teaches basic socialization skills and teaches basic biblical principles. Funding for this program covers staff support, food costs and program and activity expenses. There are 7 staff who receive cash remuneration and/or food vouchers. The iam office has identification documents for these staff members, each of whom we have known for a minimum of 15 years.
Missionary support: iam provides the support for the education, training and ministry projects of almost 100 missionaries working in mexico and central and south america. The vast majority of this support was given through ethnos360, a registered 501(c)(3) organization based in sanford, fl. A small percentage of this support was provided directly to our partner missionaries. That direct support is duely detailed and receipted in iam[:quote:]s categorized accounting.
Venezuela outreach and education programs, missionary support and relief work: iam works closely with more than a dozen venezuelan missionaries serving among primitive tribal groups, 6 children[:quote:]s education-mentoring programs replicating our tijuana program (see 4a), and related churches. These expenses were primarily for purchasing (in the usa) medical supplies and equipment, food, and other supplies for these venezuelan Ministries and for shipping those supplies to venezuela. We have known most of the individuals working with us in venezuela for 10 years or more.
