Program areas at International Congress of Infant Studies

Biennial conference held to discuss research and theory related to Infant development.
An online subscription to "infancy", the official journal of icis, is available to all icis members. The journal focuses on high-quality leading research on Infant development during the first two years.
Fellowships & awards: icis offered five fellowship grants of up to $4,000 to support undergraduate student research in infancy science. The grants funded research with a mentor at an institution other than the student's own. Students presented their work at a virtual symposium in early fall of 2022, attended by icis board members, mentors, and student awardees. Icis also offered awards to winners during a fiscal year including distinguished early career contribution award, outstanding dissertation award, outstanding undergraduate award, translational research award, and infancy early career researcher award.
Memberships in icis is open to anyone with an advanced degree in any discipline related to Infant development. The society maintains a listserv for the exclusive use of its members where announcements and/or questions can be posted to the membership. Members enjoy a variety of other benefits.
