Program areas at IESC
Trade and enterprise: in the home office, iesc is structured under a practice area model. Our three current practice areas are: 1) agriculture-led growth; 2) trade and enterprise; and 3) workforce, entrepreneurship, and youth. Iesc also has eight core areas of expertise that are inter-connected to our practice areas. The areas of expertise, listed below, that are housed solely in one practice area are in bold while the others cut across each of our practice areas. These core areas of expertise, in alphabetical order, include access to finance and investment; agriculture-led growth; business enabling environment; institutional capacity strengthening; enterprise development and entrepreneurship; market linkages; trade facilitation; and workforce development.
