Nhsmun nyc - imuna organizes the national high school Model United Nations, the world's largest Model United Nations conference, bringing together more than 5,000 students from over 70 countries for immersive simulations of the United Nations. Nhsmun has been recognized as having one of the top-quality substantive programs across the Model United Nations circuit. Through their participation, students learn about thesustaniable development goals, global issues, and critical soft skills,such as public speaking and negotiation, that are not typically taughtin classrooms. Students are also offered the opportunity to meet withun ambassadors and other diplomatic professionals who can guide themtowards careers in public service. The organization's volunteersprepare year-round to welcome the more than 5000 participants to theannual new york city conference.imuna maintains a comprehensive suite of digital resources and toolsthat are utilized by schools and organizations internationally. Imuna'sconferences and resources teach students to cultivate excellentcommunication and decision-making skills by leveraging the power ofcompromise, consensus, and cooperation for effective negotiations.imuna annually prepares Model United Nations curricula resources forteachers. In addition to core content, these resources include dozensof engaging activity lesson plans to bring the concepts to life.
