Educated 18,162 people through 542 programs on-site, off-site, and online and special events (International festival of owls and International Owl awareness day.) Grants given totaled 3,000. This includes all other educational efforts.
Continued passive acoustic monitoring to detect wild barn owls in southeast Minnesota and southwest Wisconsin, planned and executed the 2023 world Owl conference, and presented research on barn Owl detection and the vocal repertoire of the great horned Owl at the world Owl conference.
