Program areas at International Pediatric Transplant Association

Publications - Pediatric transplantation is the only journal devoted to transplantation in infants, children and adolescents. The journal aims to advance science and practice of transplantation in children worldwide, by providing a forum that highlights the most recent advances in clinical and basic science related to this field.
Outreach program which provides grants to support medical clinics in less medically developed areas in order to facilitate access for children with end-stage organ failure to safe, ethical and highly-qualified solid organ transplants.
Biennial congress and other meetings - ipta holds a biennial congress that present scientific material through symposia, oral abstracts, and small group sessions designed for in-depth exploration of both clinical and basic science topics. The 2023 congress was held in austin, Texas. Ipta also holds a fellows meeting which is designed for and limited to clinical fellows and residents, surgical fellows, research fellows, and other trainees who are planning a career in Pediatric transplantation medicine, surgery, or research.
